Ok, this nifty has been around for many many years, and bless me, I now only got to find out about it.  This is a dll file that smooth your Windows XP font to look more like Vista or Mac.  It actually bolds it a little and makes it more rounded compare to the thin and skinny looking font of the default XP.  Below is a comparison of how my XP font rendering looks like with and without GDI++.  At both times, I already have my true type turn on.  The application has been discontinued and may be a little buggy.  I have no problems using it so far.

A neatly created Visual Styles pack for XP.  The author also link to additional resources to transform your XP/Vista into Windows 7.  So, while waiting for the OS to be officially release,  you can try your hands on this visual style to see if you like it.

if you have loved luna visual styles, you will want to take a look at this.  Comes in 3 color schemes, Luna Inspirat takes the original luna visuals style up a notch.  krosavcheg have done a great job in detailing this theme out and it even comes with its own set of styler toolbar.  This smashing vector style theme comes with 3 different start menu, a whole set of buttons and a nice font sent.

Windows 7 icons extracted from the Professional Developer’s Conference release. Thanks to Mheltin, we now can enjoy the latest Windows 7 icons on our computers. It sure looks much better than Vista, but still fall back behind some of the icons created by deviantartist.
