Bye bye Colleagues | My So Called Life

Today is the 3rd last day of work with the present company. It has been 10 years since and there has been a lot, a lot of memories. As the last day draws closer, I keep having the feeling of attachment and didn’t want to leave, then again, the excitement of the new job quickly diminish the reluctance away. Though it has been 10 years, I could still remember the day when I came for a walk-in interview in Kulim. I was all dressed up in a suit. The hiring manager took me to a conference room and I notice, I am the only one dressed up. People must have thought I was a customer or out of my mind. This is a company that Jeans and T-shirt is a norm by the way. I have moved around in the company a few times, and have moved cubicles double that. Finally, after 10 years, I will be leaving the company from the same doors I walked in. I just find that interesting, since there are over 10 buildings the company has, I will be walking out from the same ones I walked in 10 years ago. Goodbye Intel, goodbye colleagues, good times shall stay forever fresh in my mind.. Cheers..

Hey…I wrote some stuff and it disappeared cause I didn’t enter my email address? Time to change sites! TEN freakin years…has it really been that long already? Seems like just last week we were listening to “I will survive” (Cake’s version of course) in thelab! And the overnight stays in the office/lab to debug stuff…only to hear ghost stories later on. Good times then….was great to be on the same team. Best wishes my friend.

Wah…you blog too! I like! Although mine is filled with crap, literally…coz I talk about babies, poo, pee, and babies. Teehee.

Anyways, you are a great person, and it’s very sad to see you go. More so that you’re a great volunteer in the YE program, but hey, I’m all for more moolah!!

You’ll be sorely missed, but I know we’ll keep in touch..via this blog!! Take care!
