Recent healthy spell has been broken, I am now starting to go down with a soar throat, and the body is heating up. Before long, it will turn into a nagging pain, stoned brain, that function like a tweak and the body will be immobilized (sleep). That’s rock bottom, and after that, it will slowly recovers. The entire episode may range from days to a couple of weeks. Thought I welcome the thought of taking a break from work and rest at home, then again, no body wants to be sick. Anyway, today the soar throat starts, maybe the vitamins that I drown the body with will help.
Incidentally, my web host was also down a few days back. Someone was hogging the server and the host admin had to backup, reset, format and reinstall everything, resulted to a 24hr blackout. During this episode I found two interesting tools, who is hosting this, who gives you the server or company name that is hosting the domain, and my ip neighbours, who tells you which domains are also being hosted on your IP/server. I have been having problems with my host lately as the response time for my site was more than 13 second. That was far below standard. Many of my complaints did not result to any speed improvements. So, I use the above tools to identify the fast servers my host has and request to be transferred to them. My host hasn’t replied, but somehow, my sever now serves wordpress at a blazing speed.
So, I was sick online a few days back, it was quickly fix, or rather recovered, now I am sick offline, and this will take some time to heal. In the mean time, I need much rest, I read internet articles suggesting that if we work when we are sick, we get dumber.. judging from my IQ lately, I think I have been working too much when I am sick.
