I received the following text message in the afternoon. “Congratulations Nombor SimCard Anda tlh bertuah Me-nangi hadiah RM15,000.00, dr Syt SHELL(M)BHD U/maklumat sila Dail talian office: 012-8371710 Terima Kasih” Aren’t I lucky? I wonder what shall I spend it on? Hymm… what would you spend your imaginary money on? Maybe on an imaginary iphone, then on an imaginary SLR camera, and oh, why not an imaginary trip… yea… scam.. if only I am actually this lucky…
This is a persistent problem I have with Coffee Bean. Why can’t they get their tea spoons clean?
Many friends and family asked, “Hey, how is it now with Opposition as State Government?”. My usual response started with a joke that the central government is actually the opposition. Then I would response my observation, which is everything is normal. Nothing much change, there were efforts to ease the bridge traffic jam by restricting heavy vehicle entering the bridge during peak hours. The current state government may have done quite a number of things, (ie, contract open tender, woo investors from HK/China/Korea, etc), but you dont see much changes on the daily lives.
One thing I notice of late is the number of pot holes on the road. It reminded me the days I drove through Jelutong where Karpal Singh was the MP. The roads were uneven, narrow, and many pot holes. With public roads maintain by JKR, who reports to the central government, it is no surprise when these roads are not being mend. I live in the Bayan Lepas area and uses the coastal highway daily. Ever since the rainy season started, pot holes started to pop up here and there.
It looks like we are in for the long haul, if Anwar fail in his bid as he re-claim by end of the year, it will be another 4 years. Its better to have pot holes with a CAT government than a nice shiny road with rotten eggs underneath it.
Is this or is this not a moleskine? On this particular scene, the three fathers just been shown their room and Bill Anderson(Stellan SkarsgÄrd) jump on of the bed and took out his moleskine and start writing on it.
