I’ve finally beaten Lost Regnum

lostregnum.jpg

After 17 hours of gameplay, I have finally beaten Lost Regnum (on PSP) with the Gladiator character. This dungeon crawler game has 3 gameplay mode, Story Mode, which takes you through the story of your character being hired to solve a lost king mystery. Upon completing this mode, you unlocks the dungeon mode, of which, the same 16 levels of dungeons where you went through, but with additional 2 level of difficulty, namely ”
Hard” and “Hell”. You will have to complete all 16 levels under “hard” before you can proceed to “hell”. Finally, the 3rd mode, which is the multiplayer mode, enables you to host the game and fight in the dungeons with other players.

The game was easy, and the minions were not at all smart. At some levels, all you have to do is just run around in circles, around spikes and the minions will run into the spikes and got themselves killed. The trick to the game, that is if it is too much for you to fight all 5 minions at the same time, is to entice them to follow you to a dark alley one by one and then slash them to pieces. The most difficult level was the last level where you have to fight two mindless moster controlled by the king who rides in a horse in a distance. You will have to kill the two moster repeatedly to have the king come into the fighting ring. I load up much life potion going into this round. You will need it. Once you conquer this, you will have to fight the king again, without his horse and you are done.

Here are a few interesting things to note about the game:
– You can only save the game through your treasure chest, so no saving of game during mid play.
– Once you exit from each level, to go back, you will have to start from the begining of the level again, fighting the same minions all over again. So, if you die at the last step of the level, you will have to play the entire level again.
– Every item you pickup, goes to your treasure chest directly, so no worries about weight. Even, if you die, you still get to keep the items… yeah…

Healthy Spell Broken

At the begining of the year, I have been plagued by a monthly sickness. Every month, I would have some health issue. After May, it stoped and i have been healthy as an ox since. Over the long weekend, I have over exert myself with lack of sleep and I am now down with the usual flu. It start with throat irratation and then phlegm, I could predict what’s next, which will be fever, and this will prolong for a couple of days, before I get a clear head and recover. One thing I notice is that having flu, it messes with the brain, I could not think straight and get crancky often. I wonder if the flu virus kills brain cell, of which often flu will render me more stupid.. haha.. maybe this post is a testament to that..

Incoherent Thoughts

Instead of writing down one long post, I decided to put down some of my thoughts today. It has been long since I take my time to sit down and reflect. It is a beneficial exercise to ponder the rights and wrong and hopefully remember the mistake and not to repeat them. Of which often I felt that I am such a fool to repeat the same mistake twice, or even thrice. Haha.. My office game room is now stock with a 4x inch Sony Bravia LCD. It has been sitting there for more than a week now, and not being used. Since I just bought my PSP to TV connector (S-Video), I will bring to office and test it out next week. Wonder if the game looks as great on the tiny widescreen vs on the 4x inch LCD? Each factory as a game room, and two of the factories in Penang has wii and PS3 in them, I wonder what my plant in Kulim are getting? Speaking of PSP, I just received a couple of used games bought by my colleague from US. The highly rated Dexter and Metal Gear Acid for $9.99. I wonder if Malaysia has a good “used” game market, would the pirated software still thrive as today? Maybe not, original games are too expensive to begin with anyway. Anyway, I checked out our local ebay.com.my and found a few used games being sold there, but they are no where as cheap as those sold in the states. Speaking of ebay, I am thinking of selling my PSP to TV (S-video) connecter and get a Component cable instead. Mainly because stupid of me to assume my TV at home has S-Video, and later found out that my Sony at home only has Component and RCA. You see, this is why sometimes, I need some time to reflect on life as it is.

Search for your sink @ faucet.com

For every kitchen top, there needs to be a matching kitchen sink. I remember when I shop for my kitchen sink. I had a Solid Surface (Acrylic) planned, and was looking for a sink that suits my needs, and also to look great. Looking for the right size of sink was easy, but looking for one that looks great was difficult. Now, with faucet.com, searching for a sink can be as easy as a few clicks away. Before you start, I suggest you check out the buying guide page. It has a wealth of resource explaining the different type sinks, and what are the purposes or how they can best be used. It starts by walking you through on what you need, and then which type of sink matches to which type of counter top and then it ends it with advices on how to make the entire symphony of sink, counter top and faucet works together.
