Nana Glamorous Sky

Astro repeated Nana again, its a movie about two Japanese girls, who have the same name, Nana. Through coincident, they met and came to search the same apartment, and end up renting it together. They helped each other to heal their wounds, without really trying, portraying the social enigma of how people who are of different pain, can help each other out. The best part of the movie, at least for me and May Lin was the song, Glamorous Sky. Its our favorite song at QueensBay Jusco drum machine.

Blogging makes you happy says research

And now a research to prove that writing down your feelings (blogging) helps you to feel better. This is because the act of writing the feelings down, makes the feeling of anger and pain less intense. Read the full article here.

“When you put feelings into words, you’re activating this prefrontal region and seeing a reduced response in the amygdala,” he said. “In the same way you hit the brake when you’re driving when you see a yellow light, when you put feelings into words, you seem to be hitting the brakes on your emotional responses.”

As a result, an individual may feel less angry or less sad.

This is ancient wisdom,” Lieberman said. “Putting our feelings into words helps us heal better. If a friend is sad and we can get them to talk about it, that probably will make them feel better.”

This is on negative feelings, how about positive feelings, I wonder if you write about love, will you feel less love?

Penang 2007 Blogger Bash

img_8440a-small.JPG

I just came back from the Penang Blogger Bash, and it was a blast. Organized by Cedric Ang, he put in a lot of efforts to make it a memorable event. With stars like 5xMom and KennySia, sponsors like nuffnag, exabyte and foodloaf, it was filled with excitement and free food and prizes. It was a shame that I need to leave early, missing the second part of the games. Anyhow, I was glad to finally met Lilian(5xmum) and KennySia, and a few more bloggers. More photos of event to follow…
